We now turn our attention to Ohio State women’s sports. The Buckeyes may have the greatest number of varsity women’s sports programs in the B1G, but we’ll see. They share sports with Oregon in soccer, lacrosse, softball, volleyball, and basketball. They also have the Olympic sports of fencing, gymnastics, rowing, and swim & dive that Oregon does not have.
But in addition to all of that, Ohio State has women’s programs in field hockey, ice hockey, pistol, rifle, artistic swimming, and spirit program. That’s right - no sooner did I say that Nebraska has perhaps the most eclectic variety of women’s sports that I’ve seen than the Buckeyes tapped me on the shoulder and said: HOLD MY BEER.
