Northwestern is next up in ATQ’s season previews of Big-10 women’s sports.
The sports previewed will only be sports common to both schools. Northwestern participates in some sports that Oregon does not; fencing, swimming and field hockey, but the Wildcats have a women’s lacrosse team in addition to field hockey.
Today we will take a look at soccer, softball, lacrosse, volleyball, and women’s basketball.

Head coach Michael Moynihan has coached Northwestern for the past 11 seasons, and in the process he has become their winningest coach and taken the Wildcats to the NCAA tournament five times.
