Nebraska is our next stop of our tour of B1G women’s sports. The Cornhuskers have the most eclectic mix of women’s sports that I’ve seen at any major university. Yes, they do have some standard sports that Oregon does not have, such as gymnastics, and swimming and diving. They don’t have lacrosse or field hockey. They do have women’s bowling and rifle teams.
This is too odd and too much fun to overlook, so here’s a few nuggets about the women’s Rifle and Bowling squads:
