Oregon's spring football practice Saturday at Jesuit High School is unique in that it marks UO's first non-bowl practice outside of Eugene in a decade.
But excuse the staffers tasked with making sure the practice runs smoothly if the preparation has felt almost old hat.
"It's similar to a road game where we're packing player bags, and trainers' equipment and obviously stuff to set up the locker room," said Kenny Farr, Oregon's football equipment administrator since 2008. "We've done this enough and been on the road trips enough, we kind of know the pitfalls of things players forget that we can plan accordingly and make sure that when coach gets out and we get on the field that it's just like we're practicing here (in Eugene).
