EUGENE -- It was tempting, on a chilly Tuesday morning where players and media alike shivered their way through interviews held outside, to dream of Arizona in December.
Projections by CBS and the San Jose Mercury News this week picked the Dec. 26 Cactus Bowl in warm Glendale, Ariz., as Oregon's first postseason destination since 2015. But the Ducks (5-5, 2-5 Pac-12) will only get there, or any other bowl -- other projections peg UO for the Heart of Dallas, Foster Farms and Las Vegas bowls -- by winning at least one of its two remaining regular-season games against Arizona and Oregon State.
