EUGENE – Oregon's offense shook off its early season struggles and four freshman pitchers combined for a shutout Saturday in a series-clinching 13-0 win over San Diego at PK Park.

The Ducks' combined for a season-high 13 hits, including three homers and three doubles, while Oregon pitchers allowed just four hits in the Ducks' first shutout since Feb. 28, 2022 vs. St. Johns.

Freshman (6.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 2 K) put together his second official quality start in as many chances. Fellow freshmen (1 strikeout) each contributed a scoreless inning to preserve the shutout.
