After some tumultuous weather cancelled one of the games against Maryland and after a dramatic come from behind victory in the opening game of the series Oregon was looking to secure the series victory against Maryland Sunday morning in the first half of a double header.
The Ducks gave the ball to Collin Clarke after a maintenance weekend last weekend. After an adventurous first inning that saw Maryland load the bases on a hit, error, and intentional walk Clarke was able to get out of the inning unscathed when the next Maryland batter lined out to Drew Smith.
