The Oregon Ducks (6-4, 3-4) were unable to complete the comeback against the Utah Utes (7-3, 5-3).
After falling behind 19-7 in the first half, Oregon rallied by scoring 10 unanswered points in the third. However, the Ducks’ offense was unable to sustain drives late in the game and the defense failed to stop Utah’s duo of backups in the backfield. Oregon would take back the lead with 8:15 left in the fourth quarter, but ultimately the Utes proved too much on both sides of the ball.
