The father of a top college basketball recruit testified Thursday about various financial offers he discussed for his son to play at specific schools, but he said he did not "recall" any specific offer from the University of Oregon.
According to multiple reports, Brian Bowen Sr. testified at a college basketball corruption trial in New York about multiple financial offers he discussed with agent Christian Dawkins in exchange for having his son, Brian Bowen Jr., attend specific universities. Bowen Sr. said Oklahoma State offered $150,000. Creighton offered $100,000. Arizona would pay $50,000. But he said he didn't remember an offer from Oregon.
