TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona running back J.J. Taylor entered Saturday's game with No. 19 Oregon among the nation's leaders in all-purpose yards, but his splits as a rusher varied wildly based on the caliber of competition he faced this season.
Not anymore.
In arguably the best performance of his career, considering the opponent, Taylor put on a clinic against the Ducks, rushing for a career-high 30 carries for 212 yards and two touchdowns and added three catches for 16 yards and two kickoff returns for 36 yards to lead a 44-15 onslaught by Arizona.
Taylor became the first player to top 200 yards rushing against Oregon since Ohio State's Ezekiel Elliott had 246 in the 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship.
