Arizona Wildcats basketball coach allegedly paid 5-star recruit $15,000 for commitment

According to a United States Attorney's Office report, Arizona Wildcats assistant men's basketball coach Emanuel "Book" Richardson allegedly paid a recruit's mother $15,000 to commit this summer.

He also is alleged to have taken money in exchange for his influence getting key athletes to sign with particular agents.

Richardson has been charged with bribery conspiracy, solicitation of bribes, honest services fraud conspiracy, honest services fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and Travel Act conspiracy, and faces up to 80 years in prison.
