Derek Radley, an assistant at the University of Arizona for six seasons, is the new women's golf coach for the Oregon Ducks.
Radley's hiring in Eugene comes just weeks after the Wildcat women won the NCAA championship. Ducks athletic director Rob Mullens called Radley a "rising star" whose "vision for building a championship culture came through loud and clear."
He succeeds Ria Scott, who coached UO for nine seasons before leaving for Virginia.
Radley is credited with coaching Arizona golfers to seven All-America honors and was part of a program with five top-10 finishes at the NCAA championships during his six seasons.
