There is news out of Seattle, where University of Washington head track and field and cross country coach Greg Metcalf resigned abruptly yesterday after 16 years on the job.
Metcalf isn't lingering to coach the Huskies in the regional qualifying meet or the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
