CORVALLIS — The Oregon women's basketball team demonstrated for the second time in three days that it can contend with reigning Final Four participant Oregon State, but the No. 11 Beavers managed to extend their Civil War win streak yet again Sunday, winning their 13th straight over the Ducks, 67-60, before 6,005 in Gill Coliseum.
How It Happened: The second Civil War game in less than 48 hours played out in similar fashion to Friday's loss for the Ducks (14-8, 4-6 Pac-12) in Eugene. The Beavers (20-2, 9-1) went ahead by double digits in the third quarter, Oregon clawed back to lead briefly in the fourth but OSU star Sydney Wiese hit a back-breaking three-pointer down the stretch — all of which mirrored Friday's game.
