EUGENE - The intensity level of the Oregon's Ducks' midweek practices apparently has spiked into the red zone.
UO receiver Dillon Mitchell said Tuesday he and his teammates feel like "caged animals," eager to be turned loose on Cal Saturday night in Berkeley, California.
Linebacker La'Mar Winston picked up on the theme after the Ducks came off the practice field on Wednesday.
The Ducks will back off in practice for the rest of the week, and not a moment too soon Winston said.
"It actually worried me," the 6-foot-2, 233-pound junior from Central Catholic said.
