NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The reigning Lombardi Award winner, became the first Duck taken in the 2019 NFL Draft on Saturday. Amadi was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 132nd pick in the fourth round.
Amadi is the first Oregon defensive back to be taken in the NFL Draft since Terrance Mitchell in 2014. Oregon has now had a student-athlete selected in 33 of last 34 NFL Drafts.
In 2018, Amadi was the first FBS player with two pick-6s and a punt return for a TD in the same season since Alabama's Minkah Fitzpatrick in 2015.
