EUGENE, Ore. - Senior Jillian Alleyne has been named a third team All-American, the Associated Press announced on Monday.
Alleyne is just the second two-time All-American in the program's history, joining Bev Smith who was an All-American in 1981 and 1982. Shaquala Williams was named honorable mention All-American twice, in both 2000 and 2002.
This season, Alleyne became the Pac-12’s all-time rebounding leader, grabbing 1,712 boards over her career. She also claimed the all-time record for career rebounding average at 14.3 rebounds per game, shattering the old record of 12.8 rpg, which had stood since 1994.
