It was a mixed day for the Nike Oregon Project at Sunday's Chicago Marathon.
Former Oregon Project runner Mo Farah won the men's race in 2 hours, 5 minutes, 11 seconds, which left for NOP coach Alberto Salazar grasping for superlatives.
"Mo continues to be incredible," Salazar said of Farah, a British citizen who left the Portland-based Oregon Project to return to London last year.
"He already has shown he is one of the greatest distance runners ever on the track. Whether he is the best marathoner, I would put him right up there with Eliud Kipchoge.
