Former Oregon Ducks softball coach Mike White could reunite part of his coaching staff in Eugene in his new job at Texas.
At his introductory press conference Tuesday in Austin, White said he'd like to hire Chelsea Spencer, a UO assistant since 2013 who is currently the Ducks' interim coach, to his Longhorns staff.
White left Oregon on Monday after nine wildly successful seasons in which UO appeared in five Women's College World Series and built the $17 million Jane Sanders Stadium. A search has begun to find his successor, UO athletic director Rob Mullens said.
