EUGENE -- Oregon's closed scrimmage against Kansas State didn't go well, not because the end result was a "loss" but in how the Ducks got there: Slowly.
The tempo and physicality were played to the liking of the Wildcats, according to Ducks point guard Payton Pritchard and coach Dana Altman, who was not pleased with his team's execution in Saturday's 75-70 scrimmage loss to Kansas State.
"They're physical and a good defensive team and very experienced so they took us out of a lot of things we wanted to run," Altman said. "We didn't run the floor offensively or defensively like I wanted.
