Playing for Canada, Oregon signee Abu Kigab helped lead his squad to the goal medal, averaging 14.7 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, highlighted by a 12-point, 10-rebound performance in a 79-60 victory over Italy in the championship game.
His best effort, however, came in back-to-back wins over Angola and France in which the versatile forward averaged 17 points and 15.5 rebounds per contest.
