Oregon basketball has been on quite the up-tick in the past few years when it comes to recruiting. Dana Altman, not historically an elite recruiter, has reeled in some of the highest rated high school prospects in the history of the school over the past few seasons. The latest of which, of course, being Bol Bol and Louis King — five star freshmen set to make their Oregon debut in November. Altman is starting to establish Oregon as a major recruiting threat; and, while he’ll never join the cloud-9 echelon of salesman including Kentucky’s John Calipari and Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski, Altman could find himself on the next tier, and in the hunt for potential NBA-caliber players.
