Just eight days after saying he was "100 percent committed to Oregon," four-star safety Jeremiah Criddell decommitted from the Ducks.
Criddell, a 6-foot, 188-pound prospect out of Mater Dei High School, announced he was reopening his recruitment on Wednesday.
"The University of Oregon had been a big school in my recruitment since day 1 and through a coaching chance I have kept them close," Criddell wrote via Twitter. "I appreciate the staff and fans for always making me feel welcomed but at this time I will be de-committing and opening up my recruiting process to take some time and make sure I am making the best decision for myself and my family.
