EUGENE — With his Oregon Ducks labeled one of the country’s up-and-coming teams prior to this women’s college basketball season, coach Kelly Graves was asked whether they could make good on their promise and win a Pac-12 Conference championship.
There was no question about UO’s talent.
Still, Graves had … questions.
“I just didn’t know if we’d have the experience to win over 18 games,” Graves said Monday.
Through 10 conference games, at least, the Ducks (20-3, 9-1 Pac-12) have shown they have enough to sit in first place as they seek the program’s first conference title since 2000.
