The Oregon Ducks got off to a sloppy start last week against Bowling Green. The gameplan was for a better start and finish against the Falcons. This week in Practice, one thing the team worked on was tempo, which should be on display against Portland State. One statistic that stands out from last week is glaring.
The Portland State Defense is giving up 10.4 yards per play after their loss against Nevada last weekend. It was a 72-19 loss. Last season, Portland State did not win a game going 0-12. Last week Portland State Quarterback Davis Alexander went 13 for 32 for 224 yards and two touchdowns, so he can throw the ball.
