Updates from Hayward Field
The 2016 Olympic Trials for Track and Field conclude on Sunday, but before they do Oregon could add to the seven athletes that are already set for Rio. Jordan Hasay, who missed the cut in the 10,000 Meters earlier this week will look to earn a spot in the 5000 Meter Final(4:28pm). The theme for the Women of Oregon continues with some solid competition in the Women”s 200 Meter Final.
Jenna Prandini, Ariana Washington, and Deajah Stevens have already made a name for themselves a this year’s Trials, but all three made it through to the final with Stevens beating out the competition in her Semi Final Heat yesterday by close to half a second.
