EUGENE -- Two former Oregon softball players are following their former Ducks coach to Texas.
All-American pitcher Miranda Elish and utility player Lauren Burke, who announced they were leaving Oregon last week, will be mid-year additions to the Longhorns to play for coach Mike White.
"This is truly a big day for Texas softball as we are very excited to add two dynamic players to our 2019 roster," White said in a statement. "Both Miranda Elish and Lauren Burke are players that possess tremendous passion and enthusiasm for the game. They are true difference makers and will have a big impact on how our team fares during the upcoming season.
