EUGENE -- Two Arizona State defensive backs, including Sun Devils leading tackler Jalen Harvey, are coping with injuries and are expected to practice on Tuesday but their status for Saturday's game at Oregon is unknown.
Arizona State coach Herm Edwards told reporters in Tempe, Ariz. on Monday that defensive back Demonte King has a shoulder injury "probably" could have returned to last week's game against UCLA and Hervey is dealing with a stinger.
"You can play hurt, you can't play injured. That's football," Edwards said. "The physicians have the final say. Both of those guys, what's good about (Tuesday) is there's no pads, we're not hitting anybody (Tuesday).
