The Oregon Ducks got a big steal on the recruiting trail when they flipped four-star QB Tristen Wallace from Ohio State.
Wallace, who is one of the highest-rated dual-threat quarterback in the country, originally committed to the Buckeyes on April 15th before switching his commitment. He's also ranked as a top-ten athlete, meaning he could possibly play multiple positions with the Ducks.
At 6'3" and 230 pounds, Wallace threw for 2,167 yards with 12 touchdowns and eight interceptions while adding 1,478 yards and 16 scores on the ground.
Wallace seemed to be a firm commitment to Ohio State until recent weeks until he announced he would be taking official visits to UCLA and Oregon this weekend. The Ducks had offered him a scholarship prior to the visit, but it's clear they made a big impression on him to get him to commit.
Oregon now has three quarterback commitments in the 2016 class, along with four-star prospect Terry Wilson and three-star Justin Herbert. The Ducks also landed coveted FCS transfer Dakota Prukop from Montana State, who is expected to compete for the starting job this summer.
