The Oregon Ducks' chances at landing 5-star defensive end Byron Cowart got a little shakier with news that he will return to Alabama for an unofficial visit after officially visiting Tuscaloosa last month.
Per Drew Champlin of AL.com, "Cowart has officially visited Maryland, and switched his plans to visit Florida on Nov. 15, instead choosing to visit Tuscaloosa. Florida State is also heavily in the mix and Oregon is scheduled to get an official visit."
So, despite a very good chance that Cowart will be wooed to the Crimson Tide, Oregon still has a chance to wow him when he makes his official visit to Eugene.
Cowart, rated as the #5 overall recruit in the nation by 247Sports.com, has been heavily recruited by a bevy of major programs. However, all signs are pointing to him officially choosing Alabama within the next couple of months - meaning that the Ducks might only be in line for a cursory "how do you do" when he visits the campus here soon.
