According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Marcus Mariota will return to Oregon in 2014. Mariota reportedly could have been the first QB chosen in the NFL draft, but elected to go back to school for his junior year instead of declaring for the draft.
A Heisman candidate for most of the year, Mariota didn't throw an interception until his eleventh game of the season, a 42-16 loss to Arizona State.
Mariota currently has 30 touchdowns and four interceptions on the year, along with 3412 passing yards. While Oregon won't be competing for the Pac-12 title this coming Saturday, most bowl projections have them playing in the Alamo Bowl on December 30.
