The Oregon Ducks made quick work of Colorado, cruising out to a 30-3 half time lead before the Buffaloes ever had much of a chance to compete in Eugene.
Turning Point: Things were out of hand for Colorado very quickly, as Oregon held a 20 point lead before the Buffaloes got on the board in the first half. Colorado didn't score their first touchdown until they trailed 37-3 in the second half.
Key Stat: Marcus Mariota outgained the entire Colorado offense 396 to 227. He also outscored them 24 to 10.
Oregon MVP: Marcus Mariota - 24/32 for 323 yards and three touchdowns, 73 yards rushing, one rushing touchdown
Mariota was nearly perfect in this one, tallying almost 400 total yards and four scores. He continues to cement his name among the finalists for the Heisman trophy.
Colorado MVP: No player jumps out from Colorado's performance in this one. Running back Christian Powell racked up 51 yards on just five carries, but he was hardly a factor in the outcome of the game.
