A No. 16 seed won't be beating a No. 1 this year. The Oregon Ducks had no trouble with the Holy Cross Crusaders, winning 91-52.
Oregon shot a blistering 55.7 percent from the field in the win. They also dominated the glass, out-rebounding Holy Cross 44 to 21.
Four players had double figures for the Ducks, led by Chris Boucher. He had 20 points. Elgin Cook had a double-double, with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Dillon Brooks had a strong game, with 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists.
Holy Cross did have one bright spot; guard Robert Champion. He hit 8 of his 14 shots and racked up 22 points. He had twice as many points as any other Holy Cross player.
The Ducks now advance to the Round of 32. Oregon will face the winner of tonight's St. Joseph's and Cincinnati matchup.
