There will be five first-time Olympians heading to Tokyo as part of the 2021 U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team.
Simone Biles will lead Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles and Grace McCallum in the team competition at the games. Jade Carey and MyKayla Skinner will join as individual competitors. Four alternates will also travel to Japan.
The team and individual selections were announced Sunday night following the conclusion of the U.S. Olympic gymnastics trials in St. Louis.
