U.S. Olympic medalist Shalane Flanagan stars in a minute-long trailer promoting the 2017 feature-length documentary “Boston” about the Boston Marathon.
The video published Tuesday marked the second trailer for the film, following a longer one published in February 2015.
The film directed by Jon Dunham will go beyond the 2013 twin bombings that rocked the 26.2-mile race.
From The Associated Press in January:
The film will be a sort of highlights reel from the 120-year-old marathon, the nation’s oldest. The Boston Athletic Association, which organizes the race, gave Dunham exclusive rights to its archive of photos, video and marathon memorabilia.
