The night that many have been waiting for is finally here. Jamaica’s Usain Bolt will look to win a third straight Olympic gold medal in the 100 meters.
Bolt is the headliner in the 100, with the three semifinal heats and final all being held Sunday night. Bolt will run in the second heat, which includes American Trayvon Bromell, while Justin Gatlin of the United States and Jamaica’s Yohan Blake are both running in heat three. Both Jamaica and the U.S. have three runners in the semis, with Marvin Bracy (USA) and Nickel Ashmeade (Jamaica) in the first heat.
