The men’s and women’s semifinals of beach volleyball will be held Tuesday, and the afternoon session will be of particular interest to the fans of the host nation.
Brazil’s is represented in both brackets, with the women’s tandem of Larissa and Talita playing in the first match of the day against Laura Ludwig and Kira Walkenhorst of Germany. Following them will be Brazil’s remaining team in the men’s bracket, Alison and Bruno Schmidt, with their opponents being Alexander Brouwer and Robert Meeuwsen of the Netherlands.
