Being one of the fastest athletes in the world doesn't mean American sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson is immune to getting starstruck.
Richardson was excited Saturday to meet Snoop Dogg at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials in Eugene, Oregon.
"It is an honor to meet you," Richardson told the rapper.
Richardson's celebrity run-in came the day after she led the field of 34 sprinters with a 10.88-second 100-meter race in Friday's opening round.
She followed that up Saturday by winning her semifinal race with a time of 10.86 seconds, and will now have the chance to qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympics in the final race.
