RIO DE JANEIRO — Usain Bolt has been inspired by a tribute song from a notorious Jamaican reggae performer as he chases down a perfect ending to his Olympic career.

Bolt’s friend Vybz Kartel is one of Jamaica’s most popular yet controversial artists, and this week released a single lauding the sprint icon following his victory in the 100 meters.

“Yes, I have heard it,” Bolt told USA TODAY Sports, before grinning and putting both thumbs up when asked if he enjoyed the tune, Win, which was made in honor of Bolt and women’s 100 and 200 champion Elaine Thompson.
