Team USA gymnast Danell Leyva has his first individual Olympic medal, snaring silver in the parallel bars final in Rio on Monday.
Oleg Berniaiev of Ukraine won gold, while Russia’s David Belyavskiy scooped up bronze.
Leyva would set the pace on the men’s parallel bars as the first of eight competitors.

Belyavskiy went fifth, and scored a strong 15.783, but Verniaiev jumped into the top spot with a 16.
