U.S. names flag bearer for Rio Paralympic Opening Ceremony

Eight-time Paralympic medalist Allison Jones will carry the U.S. flag into the Paralympic Opening Ceremony on Wednesday.

Jones, a 32-year-old born without a right femur, will compete in her eighth straight Paralympics in Rio. She has competed in the last three Summer Games in cycling (four career medals) and the last four in Alpine skiing (four career medals). Jones owns medals of every color in both the Summer and Winter Games.
