Following dominating wins in the team finals, the U.S. men’s and women’s gymnastics teams claimed the most medals in event finals at the Pacific Rim Championships on Sunday.
Led by three medals from Donnell Whittenburg, the American men claimed 10 of a possible 18 medals and won gold on each event at XFINITY Arena in Everett, Wash. Even with all-around champion Simone Biles skipping event finals to rest, the American women won more medals (five) than any other country.
In the team competition earlier in the weekend, the U.S. women won by more than 24 points and the men by more than eight points.
