GLASGOW, Scotland - Donnell Whittenburg will lead the U.S. men in team finals as they try to win a medal at a third consecutive world gymnastics championships, something the program has never done.
Whittenburg will compete in five events – everything but high bar – and two other gymnasts will compete in four events at The SSE Hydro on Wednesday.
Alex Naddour will compete on rings, vault, floor and pommel horse. Paul Ruggeri will compete on vault, parallel bars, high bar and floor.
Ruggeri, who is competing at his first worlds after previously being an alternate, struggled in qualifying after falling off the high bar twice.
