Tyson Gay, the American record holder in the 100m, is entered to compete in this week’s USA Bobsled National Push Championships, a competition that helps determine the U.S. team for the 2016-17 World Cup season.
Gay has been pushing a sled for a handful of days, according to U.S. Bobsled.
Gay is joined by U.S. Olympic track teammates Ryan Bailey and Lolo Jones in competing this week.
Jones hasn’t competed for U.S. Bobsled internationally since the 2014 Sochi Olympics, where she placed 11th.
Also competing this week is push athlete Aja Evans, who last competed at the Sochi Olympics, taking bronze.
