Team USA picked up its second medal of the Rio Olympics Saturday evening, with men’s archery having to settle for silver after falling to South Korea in the gold medal match. South Korea won all three sets, grabbing two points in each to win by the final margin of 6-0. This is the second consecutive Olympics in which the United States has taken silver in the men’s team archery competition, and South Korea has now won gold in four of the last five Olympic Games.
Korea’s team of Woojin Kim, Seungyun Lee and Bonchan Lu won the first set 60-57, the second 58-57 and the third set 59-56, and they registered 15 scores of ten points on their 18 shots in the match.
