Sydney McLaughlin breezed her way into the 400-meter hurdles final at the 2024 Summer Olympics on Tuesday, finishing in 52.13 seconds in her semifinal heat to qualify.
McLaughlin's time is the fastest-ever time in an Olympic semifinal. She finished 1.7 seconds ahead of second-place Louise Maraval of France in her race.
