Summer Olympics 2016: Things to Watch for on Day 10 in Rio

We're more than halfway through the Rio Olympics, but the action is far from the point of winding down. Monday's slate includes competition in 20 different sports with nine of those awarding medals.

Five gold medals will be given out in track and field, including in the women's 400-meter dash, while the second-to-last day of gymnastics features three more individual finals, with Americans Simone Biles and Laurie Hernandez the favorites to win the women's balance beam competition.

Also on tap are elimination rounds in sports such as beach volleyball, field hockey and water polo and the completion of pool play in men's indoor volleyball, where Team USA needs to win to stay alive.
