Simone Biles has announced picks for her hometown Texans at the NFL Draft. She’ll soon be on a Kellogg’s Special K box and in a commercial for the company, one of her new sponsors.
She even gets recognized by a few people here and there when she goes to the mall.
So, yes, things have changed in the lead up to the Olympics. But for Biles — the athlete most likely to be a household name who people don’t currently know — the pre-Games build-up hasn’t affected her focus on her goal.
“The whole process is exciting, so it’s nice,” Biles said last week in an interview arranged by Kellogg’s.
