The International Olympic Committee revoked the Olympic qualifying status of a shooting championship in Kuwait after an Israeli official was denied a visa to enter the country for the event. The I.O.C. said that the Israeli, Yair Davidovich, had been scheduled to supervise the event but was denied a visa by the Kuwaiti immigration department.
