United States sprinter Sha'Carri Richardson is looking ahead after a positive test for marijuana will keep her out of the Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Richardson explained her thought process after getting left off the U.S. Olympic team in the 4x100-meter relay after her positive test disqualified the Texas native under WADA rules.
"Honestly, that news didn't bother me because me and my team were realistic, so we kind of figured that they would say that in the first place," Richardson said. "And plus, if my talent is good enough for me to run on a relay, why isn't it good enough for me to run in my open?
